Today I have a fun review for you of one of the newer-ish Bratz fashion packs! 🙂 I really love the new Bratz dolls. Their outfits, themes, and accessories are always so clever, well-made, and awesome! 🙂
Here we go! 😀 I chose this particular pack to review because the stripes and the leather jacket really caught my eye. I also really like that the fashion packs correspond to a certain character’s style, although they would look really cute on any doll!
As per usual, the Bratz packaging is SUPER cute. I LOVE all of the little doodles and nods to Jade’s character.
With the plastic removed, you can see the outfit a little better. Isn’t the little cat to the left of Jade’s face so cute? 😛
Once the outfit is removed, the Jade cutout makes a cute little paper doll!
“Look! She’s my mini-me!”
Alrightly, here is everything that comes in the pack on Jade! 🙂 Slight sidetrail, but I love this particular Jade doll SO much. I like that her face looks a bit softer than some of the others, and her crimped, super long hair is fantastic.
In all, the pack comes with a top, pants, belt, jacket, and shoes.
Her shirt is a striped crop top, and so it does look a bit silly when worn with the belt and low riding pants. However, I really like the pattern and it seems very well made, so I think it would look cute as a swimsuit top!
The belt is an embellished piece of faux leather with a buckle and velcro in the back. Her pants are super cute leggings, with black and yellow stripes.
While I’m not entirely sure how these shoes match the rest of the outfit, I adore them on their own! 🙂 These will only work on the light-skinned characters, however, for obvious reasons.
Finally is the star of this pack, the jacket! This faux leather jacket is SO cool. It might be my singular favorite piece of doll clothing EVER. The zipper and button details are so super awesome!
Next, though, I’d like to show you what makes the New Bratz so fantastic. Combining the fashion packs with the dolls’ other outfits, you can create your own outfits, and the mixing and matching is so fun!
I decided to replace the striped top with Ever After High Raven Queen’s signature top, and I switched out the pink shoes for Study Abroad Jade’s original boots.
As for the pink shoes, I had a brainstorm to try them on my #SelfieSnaps Cloe, and I love the results! 🙂
(She is also wearing one of the Monster High Inner Monster Fashion Pack Dresses)
I LOVE these two girls!!! 😀
Finally, I wanted to try the awesome leather jacket on some of my other 12″ dolls. I’m happy to report that it fits all of my skinnier style dolls, i.e. Ever After High, Monster High, Star Darlings, Equestria Girls, etc.
Here are some of my favorite leather jacket shots! I combined the jacket with some of the girls’ spy outfits from Mission: IMDOLLSIBLE, and I think it looks really cool.
I hope you enjoyed this review and mini photo shoot! 😀 Let me know in the comments below who you think wore the jacket best, and if you want to see more fashion packs from Bratz.
Oh, and finally, I wanted to say that I’ve been posting a lot of updates and previews for my next post series, Costume Palooza, over on the Doll Dimensions Facebook Page….check it out if you want some sneak peeks! 😉
But in case you’re too lazy to click the link, I’ll just leave this little tidbit here. 😉
