I found this poor girl in a Goodwill in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, during my trip to LA.Β I bought her mainly for her original dressΒ (for a project that’s currently confidential), but she was such a cutie I couldn’t bear to leave her in her current state. Here she wasΒ before the gang fixed her up. In addition to being super tangled, her hair was very sticky and overall gross.

“We’re going to fix you right up!”

“Don’t you worry, honey!”

And after a boil wash and thorough brushing…..

“BEST. DAY. EVERRRR!!!!!” πŸ˜€

And, because it’s the Summer of ’66,Β we decided to deck her out in a mod, 60’s style dress and…….

  1. My favourite Disney princess is Mulan. I really like that she isn’t portrayed as too perfect, and that even though she’s the main character she’s still allowed to be the comic relief from time to time.

By the way, thank you for running this contest -it was a great motivator to finally get me to ‘follow’ it, even though I check it for posts nearly every day anyway. I seldom comment on things because my devices can be slow, but I’ve read everything you’ve posted on this blog!

    Keep up the great work!
