Hey, y’all! 😀
I’m spending the weekend at my grandmother’s house, and today we stopped at a Walmart. It seems like the stores in our area are just starting to get in cool new stuff, like Dragon Games, Ghoul’s Getaway, etc. As I was eyeing some items, I remembered that I had a Walmart gift card that needed using! 😛
I just got into My Little Pony recently, though I grew up with the G3 toys and still have them. 🙂 Over the month of December, I was constantly catching colds and coughs, so I was in bed a lot and looking for something to watch. I turned on the pilot episode of Friendship is Magic on Netflix, and got hooked…needless to say, I had watched all of the seasons by the time January rolled around. 😉
I had already gotten a little brushable Pinkie Pie and been delighted, so I picked out a Rarity and a Fluttershy to add to the family. 🙂 I was also THRILLED to find that they had gotten in the newest Barbie accessory packs, so I got the one with the mixer and other baking stuff in it. They also had the sushi one, and some others with puppies. 😀
Here’s my little haul!
When I got home, I discovered that the girls who came with me on this trip were having a tea party with the little set I got at Michael’s over Christmas.
Evie seems to be adjusting great…Mintee the Shopkin was just asking her if she wanted mint in her tea when I came in. 😛
I showed them what I bought, and Pinkie jumped around excitedly that her friends were here. We cracked open the packages, and Rarity jumped right into the tea party, saying how lovely everyone’s outfits were, and marveling at Evie’s jewelry.
Here’s Pinkie welcoming her new friend! 🙂
It took a while for Fluttershy to come out of her shell, and it was Rochelle that did it in the end. It just took some gentle hugging. 😉
Here are the three ponies reunited 🙂
Meanwhile, Ginger was enamored with the baking set…she’s never had a real mixer and muffin pan before! 😀
She wanted to show everything that the set comes with–which is a lot!
A mixer–with awesome detail! (And it fits perfectly in the EAH dolls’ hand)
A muffin pan, and a set of measuring spoons…the spoons are really cool, even though they are molded together.
A mixing bowl, AND a cupcake on a plate! 😀 I think that this is an amazingly good deal for only $2.44!
The girls decided to have sleepover tonight…and to have a sleepover, they needed cupcakes! So Ginger broke in the baking set with some chocolate cupcakes. 🙂
It was a bit hard to get some of the ingredients 😉 , but Pinkie was more than happy to offer her advice. 🙂
If you’re interested, I’ll be posting updates tonight on our Facebook page as the night progresses! 🙂 (I hear there may beauty treatments and a viewing of Cinderella involved…. 😉 )
